My friend has started up a new blog, and it's awesome, and it makes me miss blogging, and makes me want to jump back in. The problem that I'm having, and that has kept me, over the last few months, from starting my blog back up with regularity, is that my old content was hacked, and is gone forever.
Initially, I wasn't very upset by this. I hadn't been writing much, and it wasn't too big of a deal. But when I go back to try to start again, I am torn between trying to maybe re-create some of my old posts or just starting completely over. Should I use the same format and topics, or can it? And I realized that I really am upset that all of that writing that I did is gone forever. I was really proud of some of that stuff. It was sarcasm gold.
And then today, when I commented on a blog post, and then hovered over my entry, it gave me a preview of my link back site...the old one. It had a preview of my old blog, with my own custom header and a Say Anything blog post.
Well, that did it. Now I'm officially sad. And I may have to just re-create some of the old blog magic, dammit.
